Overview Do you want to build an impactful career to change the world for the better? Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Water Resources Practice Leader with an entrepreneurial attitude, who is enthusiastic about business development efforts to expand Geosyntec's market share. This position will be based out of our Charlotte, NC location. The position entails leading proposals and projects with Geosyntec's existing public and private sector clients, developing new clients, and managing a team of engineers/scientists in the long-term. In collaboration with top professionals in their field, you will work on complex projects involving innovative urban stormwater management and natural surface water systems, including stormwater infrastructure and BMP designs, innovative water quality improvements, flood mitigation practices, sustainable green infrastructure planning studies, nature-based stormwater solutions, watershed planning studies, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis including dam breach studies and floodplain mapping, stream and wetland restoration, surface water, watershed, and stormwater runoff monitoring and modeling, NPDES permitting support, TMDL regulatory support, and resiliency and adaptation strategies. We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and so we expect that you'd work on challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management. You may also be asked to take on project management responsibilities, along with staff management and mentoring tasks.
