Resolution Planning Specialist The Resolution Planning Specialist will be part of the bank's Resolution Planning Program Office ("RPPO") and report to the Director of Resolution Planning Program Office. The bank's RPPO is responsible for the development and production of the resolution plan for Comerica Bank as required under the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's (FDIC) Insured Depository Institution (IDI) rule and pursuant to section 165 (d) of the Dodd-Frank Act. The RPPO will be responsible for organizing and managing all documentation and workflow tools related to the Plan; coordinating review and approvals of the resolution plan by executive leadership. A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management and communication experience, attention to detail, general understanding of the regulatory requirements governing the resolution plan, and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders from across the bank to meet deadlines. Experience with resolution planning or other cross-functional regulatory initiatives (i.e., CCAR) preferred. Position Responsibilities: Execution of the Resolution Plan
- Work closely with the Resolution Planning Lead and workstream leads to support the development and production of the Plan.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders across business lines, technology, legal, and within finance to gather data, assess potential impacts, and incorporate into the Plan.
- Ensure timely delivery of information across multiple areas of the bank involved in resolution planning.
Business Consulting
- Support facilitation, communication, and coordination with Lead and in partnership with business subject matter experts and management to ensure timely completeness of deliverables.
- Assist in identifying and managing Plan dependencies.
- Support the preparation of all resolution plan documentation, including narrative and supporting data for regulatory submissions.
Effective Review and Challenge
- Document key assumptions and sources of data and ensure appropriate data accuracy and context.
- Ensure recordkeeping and organization of supporting materials and accurate completion of supporting evidence to the resolution plan.
- Adapt Plan to meet evolving regulatory expectations as applicable.
- Support preparation of materials for senior management to facilitate review and approval.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business or related fields or 6 years of progressive relevant experience
- 5 years of experience in regulatory expectations, regulatory supervision, or regulatory relations, or in a role requiring risk management expertise or consulting
- 3 years of experience in managing complex cross-company efforts; specific experience with managing major regulatory or legal submissions preferred
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
