About the Role

The Customer Application Support Engineer II is responsible for assisting customers and sales channel personnel.Through collaboration, utilizing application experience and product selection knowledge deliver the best Thermal Solutions and Technical Advice. This role supports all sales activities within the sales organization and serve as a liaison between factory product experts and the customer to deliver the Watlow experience.

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Organize and prioritize work independently, escalating issues as needed.
  • Use business knowledge and tools to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in products, applications, and business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Understand the impact of actions on expenses and overall business outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Support post-sale technical needs, including troubleshooting and product guidance.
  • Assist in quoting, pricing, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and help train sales agents and distributors.
  • Support business unit-specific activities and sales strategies.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial engineering) or other technical related degree.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.



Desired Qualifications



  • Working knowledge of thermal systems
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales support role
  • Strong product and application knowledge, with the ability to advise on product selection and basic troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to track trends and provide feedback for product and process improvements.



The base pay range for this role is between $75,765 to $104,679 annually. You are also eligible for employee benefits and annual performance bonuses. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
