Job Description Summary: The Security Assistant 2 position requires in-depth knowledge of the Commercial Background Investigation (CBI) process, Defense Information Security System (DISS), and Security Information Management System (SIMS) database where accuracy and attention to detail is required. Additional daily functions include contractor badging, coordinating and executing security briefings, processing incoming and outgoing classified visits and assisting the Personnel Security (PERSEC) team with processing clearance applications. Assists with highly visible Visitor Service Center administration to include access control, badging and ensuring security policies. Serves as the back-up for the security receptionist and demonstrates exceptional customer service and professionalism.Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities
