TREC Head Camp Counselors at TREC are responsible for the safety and well- being of middle school campers during the summer season (June 2-June 27). This includes supervising campers and staff, leading engaging activities, and ensuring adherence to camp rules. Head Camp Counselors must be prepared to handle medical emergencies, maintain a positive camp atmosphere, and participate actively in all camp activities. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as Head Camp Counselors are expected to attend staff meetings, collaborate with the camp nurse, and contribute to a supportive team environment. This is a seasonal temporary position.
Minimum qualifications & Requirements
Must be 18 or older, candidates must be able to work daytime hours ranging from 7:30am-3:30pm or 9:30am-5:30pm . Due to this being a leadership role, this position full day shifts only, no half day shifts are available. Work schedule goes as follows- Monday through Friday from May 28, 2025-June 27, 2025. This position requires drug testing and background check prior to employment. Summer employees are also eligible to work at Spring Break Camp in 2026.
