Support the Organization Unit in teaching, advising, service, scholarship, and research.
Job Description
This position requires teaching undergraduate courses - some of which may be writing intensive. Opportunities may be available to teach graduate courses. The successful candidate for this position will assume the duties of the coordinator of the minor in Community Action and Social Change. The candidate will coordinate course rotations, advise students in the minor, and continue to develop minor. This position requires the faculty member to advise students and to participate in departmental tasking as directed by the department chair. The faculty member will engage in scholarship such as professional publications, conference presentations, and/or grant acquisition. The faculty member will engage in service with the campus community by serving on department and university-wide committees. The faculty member will find opportunities to participate in community activities germane to their faculty position and professional expertise.
Management Preference
Prior experience teaching in higher education setting to include online teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with specialization, expertise, and/or interest in teaching and developing courses and activities that will develop and promote the Community Action and Social Change minor.
