Transportation Director

The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center for Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. We provide high-quality care to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. Primary Duties:

The Transportation Director at The Guidance Center (TGC) is responsible for overseeing and managing our Transportation Department. As the Transportation Director, you will ensure compliance with all documentation related to driver and fleet management for our transportation programs. You will also be responsible for scheduling transportation and staff, supervising vehicle drivers and other transportation staff, managing our fleet including scheduled maintenance, handling consumer complaints, and providing transportation safety skills training to our Center staff.

• Base annual salary ranging from $72,000 to $78,000, based on relevant work experience

Minimum Qualifications for Transportation Director:

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Required: High School diploma or GED and CDL

EXPERIENCE:

Required: Minimum of two years of experience driving a 16-passenger vehicle or larger. Experience in management and/or developing transportation routes is a plus. Proficiency with technology, including cell phones, tablets, accessing websites, scanning, uploading documents, and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Preferred: Mechanical knowledge and skills.
