Material Handler

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently seeking a full time "Material Handler" to join our team in Eagle Grove, Iowa! This person will be responsible for loading/unloading of bulk materials, rail yard switching duties and vacation relief. Employees will perform other tasks relating to shipment of products.

Responsibilities:

• Compliance with all safety procedures.
• Loads and unloads materials into and from vehicles.
• Operates vehicles and moves controls and observes gauges to measure, mix, and regulate chemical, liquid, or bulk solids transfer.
• Cleans and maintains equipment-Mechanical aptitude.
• Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.
• Maintains inventory, records and location of equipment and materials moved. (general computer skills)
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Communication Skills - Must speak, read, and write English.
• Physical Labor required. (standing, walking, bending, pulling, lifting, stairs, etc.)
• Self-starter, organizational skills, high attention to detail and a team player.
• Able to understand manufacturing standards and specifications. (math skills helpful)
• Flexibility to work - days, nights, weekends, and OT (Peak periods)
