*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

The Supply Planner is responsible for generating and owning the balanced production and inventory plan for their assigned scope (manufacturing group and/or products). The expectation is that the Supply Planner gets to a point where they develop a monthly plan that balances service/cash/cost in partnership with their business stakeholders. This highly impactful and visible role will communicate and present with stakeholders and leaders across the organization. This role will ensure that the supply signal being used across the organization is aligned with demand and capacity to be used for making decisions in financial planning, manufacturing asset planning, staffing, procurement of raw materials, and final customer fulfillment. This person will be a key owner in the monthly S&OP process.




  • Own the Monthly Supply Planning process in the Monthly S&OP cycle using Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro
  • Provide an executable plan to the Network Master Planning team
  • Work with the production sites to understand production capability, capacity, staffing and other considerations
  • During the monthly Supply Planning meetings work with manufacturing and product management stakeholders to balance the demand plan to be within supply capability
  • Meet with Manufacturing stakeholders to review production plans, address constraints, and balance sourcing and loading between sites
  • Present and answer questions regarding the Supply Plans during the Pre-Exec/Consensus and Supply S&OP meetings.
  • On a regular basis participate in meetings regarding capacity and capability of assets in scope and investment needs
  • Communicate changes to supply (increases/decreases) to affected stakeholders in S&OP, Procurement and Manufacturing.
  • On an annual basis, work with the Demand Planning, Manufacturing and Finance teams to generate the Supply Plan for the AOP/budget process
  • Review quotes for new business to validate available capacity
  • Work with manufacturing teams to resolve recurring customer service issues that require changes to supply/demand balance and supply locations
  • Drive continuous improvements to the S&OP Planning process


What We Need From You

  • Relevant BA/BS degree
  • APICS or IBF certification preferred
  • Experience with Advanced Planning Software tools; experience with Kinaxis preferred
  • ERP experience required
  • MRP experience and understanding preferred
  • Strong and Proven Analytical capability
  • Advanced Excel
  • Databases
  • Ability to translate data into information and conclusions
  • Ability to communicate the impact of the analysis
  • Strong problem solving, confidence and business understanding to make decisions and challenge stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with business partners at different locations and different leadership levels
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%)
