About the Role
A Senior Operator is a vital team member at our manufacturing center of excellence responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of manufacturing processes. This role involves working with various machinery, equipment, and tools to produce high-quality products while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. Senior Operators play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth production flow, minimizing downtime, and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing operation.

In the role of Senior Operator, you would be located at our Columbia, MO Manufacturing Center of Excellence.

Hours: Weekend 1st or 2nd Shift (Fri - Sun)

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Follow work instructions
  • Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment/tools/machinery, including complex equipment to prepare and assemble product
  • Assure product meets all quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Meet production metrics (takt time)
  • Check and fill out necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, rejects and production times
  • Must have job skills mastery and willingness to flex between work cells/ value streams
  • Collaborates with Maintenance with regard to TPM
  • Partners with CI on work cell improvements
  • Partners with Quality on problem solving


Required Qualifications



  • High-school graduate/GED preferred
  • Up to 3 years' related experience
  • Trade Jobs- Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (1-3 years)
  • Basic math skills
  • Read and comprehend measurements
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work individually and in teams
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds

  • Demonstrated knowledge with basic computer systems
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Willingness to be a cross-functional team member
  • Desire to learn new skills and follow directions
  • Hand dexterity is desired
