About the role - you will:

  • Responsible for DVL Drive Build, tear down/swap disk drives, perform step to step to complete Drive build, recycle drives, update heads & do inventory supplies in excel files.
  • Responsible for media testing, data collections & summarizing test results. Perform test Set-up, head change & head qualification, tester calibration, basic diagnostic & troubleshoot on various VTS spin-stand testers and other testers. Be able to follow and understand specifications and procedures.
  • Work closely with engineer to perform different assignment and special projects.

About you:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Perform one or more steps of ongoing business processes or programs requiring considerable judgment and decision-making skills.
  • PC operation abilities.
  • Teamwork

Your experience includes:

  • Clean room environment.
  • Flexible, reliable, and productive. Be able to comply with overtime requirements.
  • Hands-on experience on head media electrical characterizations or related fields.



You might also have:




  • High school diploma or AS degree OR equivalent experience

The estimated base wage range for this position is $25.88 - $37.00/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
