Description

  • Provide technical support to customers, addressing technical inquiries and offering product guidance for effective application.
  • Support the Technical Sales Manager in generating sales leads and identifying potential customers.
  • Assist in managing designated customer accounts/territories and ensure customers' technical needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager to support sales strategies and engagement techniques.
  • Serve as a technical advisor by recommending solutions based on customer needs and product specifications.
  • Maintain knowledge of MS products and assist in promoting value-added solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Help evaluate new technologies/products and assist in the development of innovative solutions to stay competitive.
  • Support customer plant/lab start-ups and assist with product launches.
  • Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on market trends and technological advancements.
  • Document customer interactions, including technical insights and market feedback, and share information with the team via CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Assist in producing experimental formulations and new applications, ensuring technical requirements align with customer expectations.
  • Help prepare samples and marketing materials to support customer engagement and sales efforts.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelors of Engineering (preferred)
Experience
0 - 5 years: Account management. Sales and Marketing with a chemical manufacturing-based company. (preferred)
2 years: Research/development role for a chemical/plastics manufacturing company. (required)
