SAM Operations Associate

The Associate, SAM Operations supports the Collections, Servicing and Liquidation teams through research, processing requests/transactions and coordination of department communications.

• Perform account maintenance requests (including account closing, charge-offs and status changes)
• Process monetary transactions (including account overrides, check cashing and money transfers)
• Coordinate the processing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing department communications
• Identify gaps in department processes and procedures, recommending improvements to leadership
• Assist leadership with research requests and special projects
• Assist with the facilitation of department supply and equipment requests, as required

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma
• Minimum one year experience in an administrative role, preferably in the financial services industry
• Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while producing high-quality work
• Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
• Proven ability to professionally handle sensitive documents
• Strong research, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with an excellent attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of the financial industry operating areas including functions, products & services is preferred
• Familiarly with a core banking system is preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
