Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time ANA/CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.CurrentMaineHealthmember employees are ineligible; formerMaineHealthMembers are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Part Time - Night Shift

Med Surg(MS3)

Med Surg 3 (MS3) is a fast-paced 56 bed Adult Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Southern Maine Health Care inBiddeford, Maine. The healthcare team provides care to adult complex patient populations from a wide variety of medical-surgical services including, but not limited to, Pulmonary, Renal, Infectious Disease, GI, Cardiac, Hematology/Oncology, and Orthopedics.

Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant - Acute Care roleassistsin the administration of nursing care todesignatedpatients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)


  1. Education:High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications:Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistantrequired. Current BLS certificationrequiredor must obtain within30 daysof start date.
  3. Experience:Relevant experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
