Assistant Professor, Marketing

The Curry College School of Business & Technology (SBT) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Marketing with a specialization in Digital Marketing and Analytics, beginning Fall 2025. The successful candidate will join the School of Business and Technology and contribute to our dynamic and growing Marketing program.

Candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching and research, with a passion for engaging with students, colleagues, and the business community. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to developing and delivering cutting-edge, experiential curricula which prepare students for careers in marketing. In addition, successful applicants should demonstrate the ability to engage in meaningful, high-quality research that shows synergies with the courses they teach as well as with the School of Business & Technology's mission. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly engaged team of faculty and staff, all of whom are dedicated to the professional success of our students.

The successful candidate will be learner-focused and will be expected to teach courses in undergraduate and graduate marketing courses. In addition, the successful candidate will be committed to experiential education and be able to apply experiential learning techniques in all courses taught. including developing collaborative relationships with external communities for experiential learning focused class projects, research projects, and other curricular activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing, with a focus on Analytics, Digital Marketing, and possibly other marketing areas;
  • Develop and maintain an active research agenda;
  • Mentor and advise students, including supervising student research projects and internships;
  • Participate in curriculum development and assessment;
  • Engage in service to the department, school, college, and professional community;
  • Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary initiatives and projects.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Marketing completed or plan to be completed by August 2025.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Digital and Analytics, with a strong research record and/or potential to publish in quality peer-reviewed journals.
  • Evidence of and/or potential for effective teaching at the college level.
  • Background in data analytics tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, R, Python).
  • Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
  • Experience with industry partnerships and/or commitment to developing industry partnerships.
  • Strong commitment to student success and academic advising.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
