Retail Marketing - Intern Bloomington, MN, USA Req #931 Tuesday, February 4, 2025 Internship will start March 2025. Traditional schedule will be Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm with occasional weekends and evenings required PURPOSE: To assist the Retail Marketing + Attractions Marketing departments with marketing, fashion, events, interactive and advertising projects for Mall of America. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: Serve as liaison between all MOA tenants and internal marketing teams by maintaining an enthusiastic and professional approach. Assist with coordination of retailer participation and implementation marketing initiatives (projects determined by time of internship). Assist with Nickelodeon Universe promotions and campaigns. Coordinate Nickelodeon Universe Mystery Ticket Program (order, pick up and mailout Mystery Tickets, update Mystery Ticket log). Organize, create and distribute the monthly Marketing Update, delivered to all Mall retailers. Coordinate drive market radio and/or TV trade program. Serve as a regular contributor to MOA Blog by creating, editing and uploading content related to retailers (sales, promotions & events). Update retailer info and store photos on mallofamerica.com and internal databases. Maintain file management as needed for the Retail Marketing + Attractions Marketing departments. Research influencing trends and competitive information for domestic and international fashion, retail and entertainment brands/properties. Craft bi-monthly report that is distributed internally. Handle incoming inquiries and phone calls on behalf of Retail Marketing department. Regular, reliable and consistent attendance Additional duties as assigned. PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or PR Able to work 40 hours/week including some weekend events as needed Strong verbal, oral and written communication skills Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Ability to work independently as well as closely with a team Enthusiastic, pro-active and self-starter Possess strong passion for trends + fashion Graphic design or Photoshop skills are a plus Valid driver's license and transportation required. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience and certifications.
