Overview:

Interested in breaking into a best-in-class curtainwall/metal panel team? We've got the opportunity for you! As an Assistant Project Manager 3 with our InterClad group, you'll support a range of Project Managers in executing and planning construction projects across Minnesota (and beyond!). In this role, you'll aid in ensuring that projects of all sizes are completed both on time and on budget. If you're a task-oriented, strategic thinker who can think one step ahead at all times, we're looking for you!

*** This role could also be a Hybrid role, so working a blend of in the office and at home***


Responsibilities:

The basic responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager include but are not limited to the following:



  • Assist and support multiple Curtainwall Construction Project Managers with a variety of projects to include: Change orders, RFIs, submittals, drawing reviews, job meetings, billing, and estimating.
  • Perform project set-up including equipment leasing, arranging labor, purchasing materials, and tracking cost.
  • Supervise system installation and changes.
  • Perform project close-out and provide assistance to project managers and customers in fostering long-term customer relationships.
  • Assist in drafting all system-specific details of Curtainwall systems, including all submittal drawings, shop drawings, and parts drawings in CAD.
  • Assist in analyzing Curtainwall drawings specifications and related data to determine design requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:


  • A two-year Associate degree or Vocational certificate and/or four-year related degree in Construction Management or related construction field.



  • Experience in a support role/project management in the Curtainwall industry.




Qualifications:


  • Ability to read and interpret specs and blueprints.



  • Intermediate knowledge of Curtainwall industry.



  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite including MS Project.



  • Proficient in the use of Google suite.



  • Strong organizational skills to deal with competing customer needs.



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication. Ability to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization.



  • Skilled in performing standard mathematical calculations.




Working Conditions:


  • Performance of duties will mostly be in an office environment with visits to job sites as needed.



  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.



  • Exposure to loud noise, dirt, and exposure to the elements.



  • Climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are frequent needs.

Salary Range: $64,000-$80,000 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
