Description

NSK is looking for a 3rd Shift Setup.

Provides production team members with the practical expertise and skills for solving mechanical problems. Assists in developing and maintaining records for future problem solving. Able to work with limited supervision, monitors improvement progress, and troubleshooting of issues. Performs routine maintenance and repair of production lines to achieve expected efficiencies.

Works within the organization in a manner which will accomplish the mission and objectives of the company. Carries out the responsibilities within the guidelines established by the department manager.



  • Investigates problem areas; evaluates the various alternatives; implements approved changes, assists in monitoring results and makes recommendations when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns.
  • Communication of existing and potential issues with supervisor and engineering department.
  • May be required to work overtime without advanced notification



Requirements:

This job requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of position-related experience; preferably 2-4 years of position-related experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand 8-12 hours a shift. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands/fingers to handle or feel; and talk to hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or turn. The employee is frequently required to reach with arms and hands. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs and regularly lift/or move up to 40lbs. The employee must frequently push/pull and move items using 50lb of force. The employee must occasionally climb stairs and ladders and work elevated or laying down to service equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
