About the Role:

The Service Coordinator provides administrative support to the Regional Service Manager and Field Service Engineers. This role is responsible for scheduling field service personnel, managing customer interactions, and processing service-related documentation to enhance operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and sales representatives regarding basic service-related inquiries.
  • Assist with resolving service issues by coordinating with internal teams and communicating solutions to customers.
  • Support the scheduling of routine service calls and track installation hours for efficiency.
  • Generate basic technical service quotes and coordinate service scheduling for on-site technicians.
  • Work with internal departments on service-related issues, including purchase orders, invoicing, and credits.
  • Perform follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for service improvements.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to document activities and manage customer interactions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company products and services to provide knowledgeable support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Regional Service Manager.

Qualifications
Must-Have:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 0 - 2 years of customer service or administrative experience in a technical or service-related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Knowledge of field service operations or technical support environments.
  • Familiarity with service scheduling and quoting processes.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently in a stationary position for long periods; occasional bending/kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity required for keyboard use, operating office equipment, and grasping objects.
  • Regular movement around the office and occasional visits to the factory floor.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Strong visual abilities, including close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
  • Frequent communication with employees and customers.

Work Environment

  • Primarily an office setting, with occasional visits to the factory floor.
  • Office is clean, orderly, well-lit, and ventilated.
  • Noise levels range from low to moderate in the office and moderate in the factory.
  • PPE will be provided as required.
  • No travel required.
