Summary

Coordinates electronic service and repairs for internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):



  • Execute high-quality system-level repairs.
  • Product assembly and test per documented procedures.
  • Troubleshoot products and systems.
  • Repair and refurbish Mirion products for internal rework and the repair center as required.
  • Record evaluation and repair activity in Salesforce.
  • Assist in internal auditing when requested.
  • Ensure all RMAs are handled promptly and organized for efficient processing.
  • Ensure all repairs are tested for Quality Assurance
  • Manage inventory of loaner and rental units to ensure operational readiness
  • Create and maintain service repair processes
  • Ability to read electronic schematics
  • Ability to create test fixtures for Electronic PCBA testing
  • Possess knowledge and experience with PCBA soldering (SMT and Discrete components)
  • Ability and experience with use of common electronic test equipment

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or six years of military service as an Electronic Tech; or CETsr certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schematics, and procedure manuals. Ability to author routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as repair costs, discounts, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
