Description Intel Background Investigators Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Full Time Intel Background Investigator, you will support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. Responsibilities: Review background investigation documentation packet for inconsistencies, errors, omissions, or falsifications for all assignments Conduct personal interviews, record checks, and prepare clear, concise reports based on the FIS Communicate effectively through verbal and written means Adhere to assignment deadlines while obtaining sufficient investigative coverage Balance and prioritize workload, understand and interpret policies and procedures Interact with Program team members to ensure timely and thorough investigations Perform additional functions as needed to achieve business objectives Minimum Requirements: Must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age. Current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI; Active Secret clearance or higher preferred Prior completion of an approved NTS Background Investigator course is required Personal vehicle or other reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record preferred Ability to conduct interviews in-person and be able to travel up to 90% of the time Spanish Speaking, multilingual is preferred Level III - 3 year of specialized Federal background investigative experience within the least five (5) years conducting in person interviews/record checks for SUBJECTs, Sources, and Providers. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Level IV - 5 year of specialized Federal background investigative experience within the least five (5) years conducting in person interviews/record checks for SUBJECTs, Sources, and Providers.
