Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Sr Node JS Stack Java Developer with strong experience with AWS and PostgreSQL, and individual who lead the development and implementation of high-quality software solutions using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS

Job Location: Saint Louis, MO or Remote

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Lead the development and implementation of high-quality software solutions using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

* Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices are followed.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable and reliable applications.

* Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting regular code reviews and implementing automated testing.

* Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects, including technical specifications and user guides.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.

* Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

* Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

* Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of projects.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and innovation

Key Qualifications:

* A highly skilled Lead Developer with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

* The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

* Primary Skill: Node Js

* Secondary Skill: AWS, PostgreSQL

* Good to Have: React Js

The annual salary for this position is between $97,000.00- 110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
