What the Ideal Candidate will do:

TheService & Repair Technician will provide customer service and technical support for tooling products by performing the following duties:


  • Perform tooling repairs, upgrades, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Inspect, release, and calibrate tools for quality assurance, determining reuse or replacement as needed.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure effective service and provide technical support to customers.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze performance issues, and decide on repair or disposal of equipment.
  • Recommend design or process improvements to address recurring technical issues.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and department machinery during peak demands.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), some vocational/technical school training is helpful but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience repairing or rebuilding of machinery and/or gear driven tools and spindles; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and/or drawings.
  • Must perform quality control inspections on tooling repairs and rebuilds.
  • Must have experience with power tools, hand tools, torque wrench, and etc.
  • Must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time, sometimes internationally.
