WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Quality Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Quality Department and management of the Quality Management System (AS9100). Typical tasks may include providing technical assistance and coordination of daily Quality program policies, plans, and objectives. Ensuring inspection documentation is prepared for customer source inspections and maintaining department training records.



  • Supports Quality inspectors by taking photographs during in-process inspection activities.
  • Provide documentation support related to inspection of materials, parts, and products to meet customer requirements.
  • Assists in implementing performance and quality improvement programs.
  • Compiles and maintains records for use in employee training files.
  • Support Quality leadership in preparing required documentation for customers, the FAA, and other agencies.
  • Assists in Supplier Quality Audits and Analyze Supplier Performance for management reports.
  • Gathers and organizes data for quality reports.
  • Scan/create or update records with new files and information.
  • Maintains electronic and hard copy quality files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 1-year administrative experience in a technical environment.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision. Assignments are received in the form of results expected, due dates and general procedures to follow.
