Summary: The person in this position will work with multidisciplinary project teams providing electrical engineering and related technical expertise. Work will include preparing designs for DC and AC collection systems and power plant controllers. Projects will focus on design and analysis and will consist of preparing plans and specifications, writing reports, and developing cost estimations. The work will be related to renewable energy facilities. The person in this position will also be responsible for managing projects, coaching and mentoring less-experienced staff, providing technical leadership, and managing teams to meet clients' needs. The work may at times involve short-term out-of-town assignments. Minimum Qualifications:

A hybrid or remote work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office; a remote arrangement refers to working primarily from a home office. This position can be based out of Barr's or Minneapolis, Duluth, or Hibbing, Minnesota; Denver, Fort Collins, or Wheat Ridge, Colorado; or Ann Arbor or Grand Rapids, Michigan, offices. Remote arrangements will be considered based on candidate qualifications, location requirements, and Barr's needs. Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $89,000-$118,000/year. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.
