Driver and Warehouse Associate

What you'll do:

• Load and pick-up resin at the local rail yard and unload resin into the plant silos as needed based on specific product and production needs
• Deliver product to customers throughout the state of Pennsylvania as needed.
• Responsible for food safety.
• Perform warehouse associate responsibilities when not performing as driver.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures as well as SQF System requirements.
• Responsible for routinely checking silos to ensure that waste resin is cleaned up and properly disposed of.
• Represent Silgan Closures in a professional manner, with a high degree of respect for existing and potential customers.

What you'll need to have:

• Class A CDL

• 1 to 3 months related experience or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
• Must possess attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
• Current Forklift license is preferred but not required.
