Overview

Provides quality health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of Physician by performing the following duties in a compassionate, cost effective manner.

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Urgent Care team at Mercyhealth - Woodstock.

Opportunity:

  • Qualifications:
  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
  • A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
  • Ability to pass an Illinois Health Care Workers Background Check

Certification/Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
  • Current IL PA or NP License
  • Current DEA number and IL CS
  • ATLS certification
  • Other certifications as required

Indirectly supervises other palliative care nursing or support staff.
