Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is seeking a detail-oriented Data and Systems Analyst to join our team! This role will oversee SharePoint as our intranet and primary document management platform while also driving the development of a data governance and reporting strategy using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both SharePoint administration and data engineering with Microsoft Fabric, including security, workflow automation, and enterprise system integration. This is an in-office position based in our Austin or San Antonio office, with Houston as an option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and revise the company's SharePoint site, ensuring optimal structure and usability.
  • Develop and implement approval workflows within SharePoint to streamline document management and business processes.
  • Define and enforce security policies to control access to SharePoint data and documents.
  • Lead the migration of all data from Box to SharePoint, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with departments, project teams, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving processes and workflows within the platform.
  • Provide training and support to employees on best practices for SharePoint usage
  • Work with Data team to help with the implementation and management of Microsoft Fabric as our enterprise data platform.
  • Design and manage data pipelines to bring data from multiple sources (CMiC, Autodesk Build, etc.) into Fabric.
  • Develop and enforce a data governance framework to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Work with stakeholders to define reporting needs and build Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate Fabric with other enterprise applications.



Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in SharePoint administration, workflow automation, and security.
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, pipeline management, and governance.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Purview (for governance).
  • Strong knowledge of data security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to migrate large datasets from external systems (Box, CMiC, etc.) into SharePoint and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience working in the construction industry or with construction-related data is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and security, including identity management, compliance tools, and data protection.
