Non Financial Risk Analyst

In this role, you will partner with Macquarie's People and Culture division to enable a preventative risk management approach through the identification, measurement, and remediation of operational risk. You will monitor compliance with the operational risk management framework, embed risk and control best practices, and provide guidance and challenge to drive strong risk management and risk culture.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our Houston location.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of risk management policies, guidelines, and protocols. You will also engage with and influence senior stakeholders to ensure risk management strategies are in place, perform control assurance testing, and prepare detailed risk reports for senior management.

What you offer

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in risk management roles (preferably in HR aligned roles)
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Power BI tools, MS Excel (advanced usage), and MS Office platforms
  • Ability to communicate and present to senior stakeholders
  • Understanding and hands-on experience working with risk frameworks, practices, and regulatory guidelines
  • Experience in coordinating control assurance testing and skilled in communication issues and risk mitigation strategies.
