TITLE: Driver-Lubes Yard LOCATION: Houston, TX POSITION REPORTS TO: Driver Manager WAGES: Commensurate with experience, position, and location SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday(Day shift) RESPONSIBILITIES Operate pumps for loading and unloading of bulk products Perform daily yard checks and ensure trailers are organized Move trailers between various Sun Coast yards Complete and turn in paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Properly follow all DOT regulations, policies, and procedures Follow Sun Coast and operational and safety policies and procedures Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills Other related tasks as assigned by manager Pay Range: - , General Benefits: BASIC REQUIREMENTS Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal Minimum age 23 Valid class A license with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a good driving record, and a good understanding of DOT regulations Must be able to drive a 10-speed tractor Must have at least 1-year minimum tractor trailer experience Must be able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing Must be able to use three points of access getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day Must be able to climb up steps to verify tank compartments as needed Must be able to work safely in uneven or muddy surfaces Must have some mechanical and electrical aptitude Must have a professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and for 12 to 18 hours per day Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and get along with others Must be able to read, speak, write, and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions PREFERRED Experience in the fuel and or Lube industry Sun Coast Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
