Director of Global Operations and Supply Chain

The Director of Global Operations and Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing global plant operations, warehouse management, strategic sourcing, and the execution of global supply chain activities. This role plays a critical part in aligning the supply chain strategy with the organization's long-term vision, ensuring operational efficiency and driving innovation across multiple regions, including the USA, EMEA, and APAC. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics, implement lean methodologies, and ensure compliance with global standards.

Operations & Supply Chain Management:

Manage plant operations, warehousing, and distribution centers globally, ensuring high performance across all regions.
• Lead strategic sourcing efforts to optimize supplier relationships and drive cost-effective procurement strategies.
• Implement and oversee global supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure effective management of logistics, including transportation routing, inbound and outbound freight, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Utilize ERP and other systems to streamline processes and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean methodologies, focusing on cost reductions and process optimization.

Team Development & Leadership:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global team; foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Ensure that the team meets performance targets by establishing clear goals and metrics.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Lead the strategic planning process for global supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that supply chain operations are aligned with customer requirements and overall business strategy.

Global Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
• Manage risk across the supply chain by implementing robust contingency plans and monitoring global market trends.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in operations and supply chain management, with significant experience in the USA, EMEA, and APAC regions.
• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles, ERP, WMS, transportation routing software, and Lean methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing global teams and driving results.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance long-term strategy with immediate operational needs.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

The expected annual salary for this position is between $160,185.00 and $215,854.00 and will be eligible for incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, location, skills, training and experience.
