What you would do here:

The Senior Human Resources ("HR") manager oversees all aspects of the Company's HR function, including recruitment, team member relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent development and training, compliance with labor laws, and will be a "culture builder" for the Company. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role combines strategic execution with hands-on HR management to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition and Management
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, interviewing, and hiring decisions
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage team member onboarding and orientation programs
  • Oversee succession planning and talent development initiative
  • Team member relations and culture
    • Foster a positive workforce culture that promotes team member engagement and retention
    • Promote positive team member relations through open communication and engagement strategies
    • Design and oversee team member engagement programs and initiatives
    • Address team member concerns and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution
    • Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts
  • Performance management
    • Manage performance management system, including goal setting, regular feedback and performance reviews
    • Facilitate annual merit cycle with all managers
    • Coach and develop managers on performance management practices
  • Compensation and Benefits
    • Manage team member compensation structure, including salary reviews and adjustments
    • Oversee team member benefits administration, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure adherence to all employment laws and regulations, including labor laws and anti-discrimination
    • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
    • Monitor and manage potential HR risks
  • Strategic Planning
    • Collaborate with the HR team and CFO to develop plans that align with the HR strategy which align to business goals
    • Effectively communicate plans to leadership team to gain buy-in
    • Develop and manage the HR annual budget and recurring forecasts
    • Analyze HR data to identify trends and inform decision-making
  • Supervisor responsibilities
    • Manage 2 HR team members
    • Cross train on all HR functions

What you already know and have done:

Strong understanding of HR best practices, emerging trends, and HR technology solutions.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Ability to drive innovation and manage cultural change within an organization.

Ideally you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business administration, or related field
  • 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, team member relations, performance management, and compensation practices
  • Proficiency in HR technology and data analysis
