The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. JOID assists the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in developing leading edge technologies to counter WMD in support of CCMDs and transitioning these technologies to military services and COCOMs. SPA provides expertise across the full range of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives (CBRNE) WMD, Counter Improvised Threat and Countering Threat Network technologies to support understanding, detection, identification, characterization, denial, control, disabling, defeating, disposing, safeguarding the force, managing consequences, and test and evaluation in support of military and civilian operations. SPA has a near-term need for a Military Requirements Analysis SME to provide onsite support in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities Contribute to and oversee the creation and staffing of requirements and related documentation; support study elements, adjudicate comments, facilitate document development and coordination across organizations; and determine the implications of changes using knowledge of DoD JCIDS requirements processes. Supervise junior contractor employees working for the same business entity. Confer with managers to obtain additional information or to interpret policies and procedures related to requirements. Utilize Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and other staff action tools. Provide military subject matter expertise to the full spectrum of analysis projects. Use knowledge of military organizations (i.e. roles, missions, and structure), operational responsibilities (i.e., doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel, facilities and policy), and methods for employing assets of the national security establishment at the strategic, operational, or tactical levels to assist clients' with defining, understanding, and evaluating critical national security issues and recommending courses of action for senior decision makers. Assists with developing scenarios, concepts of operations or concepts of employment for U.S., friendly, and opposition forces to support current and future capabilities, equipment, and platforms. Identify relevant systems characteristics and requirements and applicable tactics, techniques, and procedures. Assist with identifying, developing, and evaluating measures of effectiveness and assessments. Analyze and summarize findings into briefs, reports, memos, or other deliverables. Expected Travel ~20%. Qualifications Required:
15+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.
