This opportunity is in the Information Technology Department.

Role Description

As a Scrum Master II, you will play a key role in coaching and guiding Agile teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Reporting to the Agile Delivery Manager, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and development teams to promote Agile best practices, drive team efficiency, and remove impediments that may hinder progress. You will facilitate essential Scrum ceremonies, including PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives, while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your ability to foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment will be instrumental in improving Agile maturity, maintaining velocity, and delivering continuous value to the organization. Key Responsibilities



  • Coach Agile teams on Scaled Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including:


    • PI Planning
    • Iteration Planning
    • Backlog Refinement
    • Daily Stand-ups
    • Retrospectives


  • Manage sprint timelines, capacity planning, and backlog.
  • Remove impediments to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and program increment goals.
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics, such as:


    • Velocity
    • Say/Do ratios


  • Support cross-team collaboration and Agile maturity development.
  • Conduct team-building and morale-boosting activities.


What We're Looking For

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, SAFe methodologies, and Agile frameworks.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications



  • SAFe Scrum Master certification strongly preferred.

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $82,000 to $107,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
