This opportunity is in the Client Engagement Department.

Client Engagement: The Client Engagement department engages internally with our business stakeholders and externally with our broker and TPA clients. We work to cultivate relationships, maximize operational opportunities, and drive collaboration and communication. We specialize in assisting and delivering optimized solutions that meet our clients' dynamic needs while exceeding expectations and providing value.

Communications: Our Communications department works closely with all internal departments to strategize and develop corporate messaging and materials, branding, and thought leadership content. We also provide support for all industry conference involvement, coordinating sponsorships, exhibiting opportunities, and employee travel. About the Role

In the role of Construction Claims Manager (internally known as Client Engagement Manager - Construction Claims), you will be part of the Client Engagement Department. You will work closely with clients, brokers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and internal teams to ensure the highest level of claims management and service delivery. Your contributions will help drive retention, enhance client relationships, and maintain Safety National's reputation for outstanding claims management.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Construction Claims Manager will include:



  • Managing overall claim services for customers in the Construction unit, ensuring best-in-class service.
  • Overseeing General Liability (GL), Auto Liability (AL), Auto Physical Damage (APD), and Workers' Compensation claims handled by TPAs.
  • Serving as the primary claims contact for construction clients, tracking and resolving issues to ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborating with internal teams including Finance, IT, Claims, and Legal to address claims-related projects.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers, clients, and TPAs.
  • Participating in industry conferences, client meetings, claim reviews, and onboarding processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with client-specific claim instructions and action plans.
  • Traveling up to 50% to engage with clients and partners.


What We're Looking For

  • Technical expertise in claims handling and construction-related risks.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing and managing Construction, Auto Liability, General Liability, or Workers' Compensation claims.
  • Experience working with multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior experience adjusting claims in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of TPA partnerships and construction-related liability.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
