Summary:

Provide analytical and technical support across multiple functions in the finance department including corporate finance, planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Energy Transfer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance management reporting for senior management
  • Support the company-wide annual planning process and subsequent monthly forecasting process
  • Provide corporate and G&A expense variance analysis including budget vs. actual, quarter vs. quarter, current year vs. prior year
  • Provide support of our TM1 production and development environments supporting multiple users, maintaining existing dimensions and managing user access/security
  • Provide support for earnings releases, 10-K, 10-Q, and other external financial reporting
  • Prepare headcount and capital tracking reports

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, MIS, Mathematics, or related field and a minimum of 2 or more years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly proficient with MS Excel
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

- The Associate Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 years of relevant job-related experience

- The Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience

- The Senior Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience

- The Lead Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- IBM Cognos TM1 experience preferred, but not required to apply. However, this role is responsible for TM1 support so the willingness to learn is required.

- SAP experience preferred, but not required

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while

performing the essential functions of this job.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

- Occasional overnight travel may be required.

- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
