About the Role

As the Key Account Manager, you will focus on supporting our semiconductor business by managing relationships with key customers. The role involves implementing strategic initiatives to establish, retain, and grow profitable business, ensuring excellent service. As the main communication link between accounts and the business unit, the Key Account Manager ensures alignment between business strategies and customer needs, while leading project management activities to drive success across global operations and plants.

This role will be based at our global headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and develop staff, ensuring alignment with business strategies and goals
  • Manage key customer accounts, including pricing, business reviews, and relationship building
  • Integrate customer needs with organizational initiatives to drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer specifications and resolve technical issues
  • Oversee account budgets, business plans, and strategic account planning (SAP)
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate strategies, customer needs, and results to leadership and team members
  • Drive customer growth by recommending products and services that enhance profitability
  • Resolve customer concerns, manage escalations, and lead performance audits
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies, forecasts, and account-specific growth plans



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; engineering degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in account management, with a preference for candidates with 10+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and drive results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% across North America, with the potential for some international travel

  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work and maintaining high standards
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to assess complex situations, analyze data, and make informed decisions to drive business success
