We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst Consultant with Salesforce experience to support various enterprise applications. This role involves eliciting business needs, specifying user stories/use cases, modeling processes, evaluating system impacts, performing detailed analysis, prioritizing business requests, and collaborating with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of new system capabilities, enhancements, and fixes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

70% - Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand current processes, systems, and improvement opportunities.
  • Capture requirements for new processes, systems, user interfaces, and user experiences through various methods, such as interviews, surveys, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to communicate business needs and define appropriate solutions.
  • Provide best practice recommendations.
  • Document current and future states using functional requirements, user stories, wireframes, interface designs, workflows, swim-lane diagrams, and presentations for various audiences, including C-level executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

20% - Testing & Implementation Support

  • Work closely with IT development teams (onshore/offshore) and QA teams to ensure adequate system testing.
  • Facilitate and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

5% - Team Collaboration & Guidance

  • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to ensure alignment with business objectives.

5% - Other Duties

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experience capturing and documenting B2B customer-centric requirements with a focus on reducing customer pain points and enhancing operational visibility.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data integration with third-party and custom systems (SAP, Data Lake, etc.).
  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
  • Knowledge of best practices in UI/UX design and digital interface development.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodology, and Jira.
  • Experience documenting enterprise system integrations.
  • Strong business process design and workflow analysis skills.
  • Understanding of IT standards, policies, and security practices.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and ERPs.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Lucid Charts is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (with IT focus), or related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, system analysis, and design, preferably in enterprise B2B, durable goods, construction, or manufacturing industries.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus.
