This opportunity is in the Business Development Department.

Role Description:

As Director, Revenue Optimization and Strategic Engagement you will leverage data insights to propel business growth. In this role you will work closely with senior leadership to design and lead key initiatives, including performance metrics, broker distribution, and technology advancement, to enhance revenue generation and strengthen our market position.

Data-Driven Strategy Development and Reporting

You will collaborate with senior management and leadership teams across the organization to develop and execute strategies that align with data insights and achieve strategic growth objectives. You will provide consultation on key performance indicators tied to revenue strategies, analyze forecasts, monitor funnel metrics, and develop innovative tools to enhance performance and support among stakeholders.

Increase Value for Primary Stakeholders (Executive Management, Business Development, Underwriting, Client Engagement, and Corporate Broker Relations)

You will build and maintain strong relationships with key broker partners. By regularly engaging with key brokers, you will evaluate Safety National's performance, explore areas for improvement, discuss market trends, gather feedback, address distribution challenges, and collaborate on business growth strategies and technology initiatives.

You will guide and enhance internal efforts to identify and capitalize on opportunities for expanding product and service distribution. Through in-depth analysis, you will deliver insights based on product data and market opportunities, enabling informed decision-making and maximizing revenue potential. Your contributions will help the distribution team craft effective strategies, and you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and adoption of these solutions.

Data & Analytics Stewardship

You will promote investments in sales and customer success technologies, implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, service quality, competitive advantage, and revenue growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure necessary resources and ensure successful outcomes.

As a leader in this space, you will provide vision for improving data quality, accessibility, and completeness. You will oversee initiatives that connect existing with new data sources, expanding analytical capabilities and automation to support strategic objectives.

  • We strongly desire someone who can work a hybrid schedule in on of our offices. However, we will consider hiring someone to work remotely.

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced education in business or analytics preferred.


Required

Qualifications:



  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in Sales, Marketing, Revenue/Sales Operations, or Customer Service with a proven track record of driving change
  • Experience in distribution analysis or strategic engagement within a commercial insurance carrier or brokerage
  • Expertise in marketing and sales practices, including CRM systems, sales applications, reporting, forecasting, and territory management
  • Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and creating accurate, impactful data visualizations. Strategic thinker with a penchant for innovating and the ability to build support for ideas and drive them to completion
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influence skills, with the ability to convey vision and strategy to colleagues and executive leadership
  • Skilled in translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences, with strong consultative and negotiation abilities
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain key relationships, including comfort working with executive management and top broker partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel as needed, a minimum of 25%.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem is highly preferred
  • Supervisory experience

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
