Ping Identity is seeking an FP&A Director to serve as a key business partner to our global Sales and Marketing organizations. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will lead FP&A activities for the Go-to-Market team, including financial and operational analysis, reporting, and support for key strategic initiatives. This role will have a high level of visibility within the organization and serve as a key interface between Sales & Marketing and the broader Finance team. The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented, a strategic thinker, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will:



  • Act as a strategic partner to GTM leadership, providing data-driven insights and guidance to optimize financial performance;
  • Lead the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process for the Sales & Marketing orgs in alignment with company goals and objectives;
  • Effectively communicate financial performance, trends, and risks to executive leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in financial matters;
  • Partner with the Bookings team to provide meaningful analysis into sales trends as well as guidance on complex deal structures;
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements in processes to support a growing company; and
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.


You have:



  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics;
  • 8+ years of previous experience within FP&A, Accounting, or related field;
  • Previous leadership experience with a commitment to team development;
  • Expert financial modeling and presentation skills;
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of management and present financial issues to non-finance personnel.


You have an advantage if you have:



  • Prior experience within a SaaS organization, particularly with a GTM focus
  • Experience with Salesforce, Netsuite, and/or Anaplan
  • Licensed CPA or CFA


Salary Range: $150,000 + $200,000 + bonus

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
