Position Summary The Analyst Engine Programs reports to the Manager of Engine Procurement Programs, Technical Operations in support of strategic projects and commercial transactions. The Analyst prepares reports utilizing analytical tools to support engine maintenance, engine fleet planning, lifecycle management and procurement forecasting. The role involves working closely with JetBlue's Engineering, Engine Repair & Procurement, Corporate Finance and Accounting teams, among other groups. Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of analytical tools to support and monitor engine maintenance activity and engine lifecycle management
- Support fleet planning analysis for introduction and retirement of engine platforms
- Conduct analysis for commercial recommendations on all current and future engine platforms
- Prepare financial and operational risk analysis for engine maintenance projects and commercial transactions involving procurement or sale of spare engines
- Support quarterly invoice review and reconciliation of engine maintenance activity alongside Engine Repair & Procurement Team
- Prepares forecast and supports procurement of life-limited parts to support engine maintenance
- Maintain relationships with key existing and potential future business partners, including engine Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and engine maintenance providers
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Engineering; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
- One (1) year of finance, supply chain, sourcing or equivalent experience
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial, quantitative and data analysis skills
- Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Knowledge of aviation maintenance contracts and different financial and operational structures
- Specific experience with engine maintenance, engine manuals and documentation
- Familiarity with Maintenance & Engineering database (such as TRAX)
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and database administration, including applications beyond Microsoft Office suite
- Experience preparing reports for executive leaders

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $50,000.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
