We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!

In this role you will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across our business units. You will lead efforts to drive process improvements and support strategic decision-making through effective communication of complex financial information.

What You Will Do
* Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations summarizing key financial metrics, including variance analysis, to communicate insights to senior management
* Assist in the monthly financial statements and consolidation processes, including trend analysis, close checks, and global governance
* Oversee elimination and economic ledgers and prepare leadership reporting
* Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas, to conduct data analysis and develop financial models
* Work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to gather insights and inform decision-making
* Identify and implement innovation opportunities in the financial reporting space and drive process improvements
* Provide ad hoc information, reporting, and data analytics to other capabilities and business partners

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Progressive experience in Accounting/Finance-focused roles, with a solid understanding of accounting processes, US GAAP requirements, and financial reporting
* Experience with accounting consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and consolidating international entities with foreign currencies
* Experience presenting financial data and analyses clearly to non-financial stakeholders

What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience using data analytic and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and OneStream
* Proven track record in identifying and implementing process innovations and improvements, particularly in financial reporting and strategic collaboration
