Job Overview

The Provost Office of Business & Financial Affairs oversees operational and strategic business matters for the Office of the Provost including fiscal management of the university's academic affairs.

With limited guidance, oversee the planning and supervision of the fiscal administrative activities of assigned units.

This position will have a hybrid work schedule of both on-campus and remote work.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate and monitor fiscal administrative duties
  • Assist in the development of unit(s) policies and procedures
  • Monitor the financial status of academic affairs unit(s) programs and other budget allocations
  • Implement policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Prepare reports
  • May coordinate personnel transactions for an academic affairs unit(s) in a limited capacity
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree must be in accounting or related work
  • Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement

Required Experience

Two (2) years of finance or accounting experience.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
