The University of Cincinnati's College of Allied Health Sciences Admissions Office is excited to invite a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Recruitment Team as an Admissions Counselor. This entry level role will contribute to UC's goal of enrolling 60,000 students by 2030 and embodies our "Next Lives Here" ethos, emphasizing access, innovation, and inclusiveness. The ideal candidate must be passionate about presenting to large groups of prospective students, families, and high school counselors, adaptable to work with people from differing backgrounds, and dedication to counseling students through the college search and application processes. As an Admissions Counselor, you will be essential in executing the college's strategic recruitment plan, which focuses on building a diverse and talented student body. The central responsibility of this role includes participating in on-campus and off-campus events, including high school visits, undergraduate and graduate college fairs, and community outreach activities that align with the strategic plan's objectives. The position requires travel during peak recruitment periods (approximately 6-8 weeks in the fall and 1-3 weeks in the spring) and flexibility for some evening and weekend work.
