Foley & Lardner is seeking a corporate attorney with 8-10 years of relevant experience to join our Transactions Practice Group in Tampa as a Senior Counsel. This position will involve primarily working on US and international private company M&A transactions, with a focus on middle market private equity transactions. The associate would be joining an energetic and collaborative culture that values character, work ethic, and personal/professional development.
Qualified candidates must have substantial experience representing public and private companies, as well as private equity and venture capital firms, in acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, securities offerings and other general corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients in domestic and cross-border transactions across a variety of industry sectors, including life sciences, financial services, energy, technology, leisure, and consumer goods and services. Sophisticated document drafting and project management skills, strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and an exceptional work ethic are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar.
