Extrusion Operator

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join a leading plastic tubing manufacturer in Pryor, OK. If you have machine operation experience and a passion for manufacturing, this is your chance to help produce high-quality polyethylene pipe. Apply now and become part of a dedicated team!

Pay: $16 - $20 per hour, depending on experience

Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd Shift, Monday to Friday

As an Extrusion Operator, your role will include tasks like coiling, taping, stacking, and packaging polyethylene pipe, along with conducting quality checks and maintaining accurate production records. You'll collaborate with the Shift Supervisor to follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized. Flexibility to assist with additional duties as needed will help meet production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Install precut gaskets on vacuum and spray tanks
• Set coiler arms to the correct diameter for neat, tight pipe coiling
• Maintain cleanliness and return supplies after each shift
• Communicate issues effectively with team members
• Complete safety, quality control, and operational training as required

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience
• Strong work ethic with labor experience and a stable work history
• Reliable transportation
• Required safety gear: steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently
