This position exists to operate various automated machinery for Bal Seal Engineering manufacturing clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Uses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
  • Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
  • Works under the close direction of tenured personnel in the functional area
  • Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
  • Watch while the machine is being repaired by a Technician
  • Observe and follow all safety protocols
  • Learns the use of precision measuring tools
  • Perform daily housekeeping operations in the work area to maintain a safe workplace
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED preferred


Experience:



  • 1 year of automation operation experience is preferred, not required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to promote and work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to perform in a medium to fast-paced environment


Work Environment:
