Job Summary The Sr. Project Controls Analyst will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and is responsible for the development and maintenance of project controls requirements for various projects, relating to alignment with departmental standards and processes in the areas of progress and performance (Quantity Management), change management, project cost controls, schedule and associated project reporting. Essential Functions

- Work closely with project management and project controls personnel to ensure alignment with project controls cost, progress and schedule project analysis and reporting.
- Review, consolidate and prepare Project Earned Value Progress and Performance reporting for Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
- Coordinate all project cost coding, including all project purchases and timekeeping code validation with timekeeping and field supervision.
- Interface with estimating department when required, to validate estimate basis and assumptions and seek project support as required.
- Assist in the development of project schedule updates, including progress updates and resource analysis.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly project reviews and reporting, supporting project controls manager in the preparation of project reviews, reports and presentations.
- Participate in project level revenue recognition exercises, ensuring compliance and practices are aligned with functional processes and procedures.
- Perform field audits, validating project progress, productivity, project actuals, commitments, estimate to complete and estimate at completion forecasts, as well as project variances and change management compliance.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Qualifications
- 6+ years of construction cost control experience preferred.
- 4 year degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Ability to interpret contract terms, conditions and exhibits as applicable to project requirements.
- Background in Heavy Process Industrial Engineering, Procurement & Construction projects preferred.
- Multi Discipline Direct Hire Construction Experience required.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, evaluating IFC take offs and verifying physical progressing.
- Experience with Primavera (P6) preferred.
- Microsoft Office and Excel Proficiency; ability to gather and organize large amounts of data.
- Familiar with Penta Accounting System is a plus.
- Familiar with Prism G2 is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, written and communication skills.
- Project based travel required.
