Job Summary

The Wine Studies Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of wine-related events, programs, and initiatives. This includes coordinating courses, events, and partnerships related to wine education, as well as maintaining strong relationships with industry professionals, instructors, and students. The Coordinator will handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and event logistics, ensuring the smooth operation of the program.

  • Coordinates and promotes events that engage the broader community and highlight the program's offerings.
  • Assists in creating marketing materials and promotional content related to wine programs and events.
  • Maintains accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply.
  • Submits purchase orders, travel authorizations and expense reports. Manages the wine departments contact database.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to attendees, donors, and stakeholders during wine events.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations related to alcohol and wine distribution during program events.
  • Assists program manager with instructors and guest speakers to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.
  • Performs various administrative tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining program documentation and records.
  • Manages and maintains the Chip Cassidy Library, including organizing and cataloging materials, ensuring proper storage, and assisting with resource availability for staff and program participants.
  • Manages the procurement and purchasing of educational program supplies, office supplies and seminar ingredients.
  • Assists with logistical duties for the Wine Studies program, including coordinating event setups, managing participant registrations, and ensuring all materials and resources are prepared for classes and events.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality
  • Experience with wine and wine-related events, including knowledge of wine varieties, tasting techniques, and event coordination.
  • Experience with Canva, with the ability to create visually engaging marketing materials, presentations, and social media content.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
