EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
About Your Role The O'Donnell School of Public Health is seeking an experienced Faculty Coordinator to join its Office of Faculty Affairs. The Faculty Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs across all aspects of the faculty lifecycle, including but not limited to faculty recruitment, promotion and tenure, annual evaluations, and post-tenure reviews. This position will serve as the subject matter expert on all faculty affairs initiatives and transactions and act as a liaison between the school and the institution's Office of Faculty Affairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of faculty affairs and a proven ability to manage complex administrative processes in an academic medical center. Candidates must have prior faculty coordinator experience within UTSW to be considered. Job Duties: * Develop and post faculty positions, including creating job descriptions and advertisements. * Collaborate with the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs to establish policies and procedures for faculty recruitment, annual evaluations, promotion and tenure, and post-tenure reviews. * Draft Letters of Intent, Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), and reappointment letters in accordance with the Office of Faculty Affairs guidelines. * Distribute and manage the collection of annual faculty evaluations. * Process faculty relocations and coordinate logistics. * Work with the Office of International Affairs on visa and permanent residency applications for faculty. * Coordinate faculty search committees and recruitment efforts. * Organize faculty recruitment visits, including itinerary development, hotel/flight arrangements, and lecture coordination. * Oversee the Promotion and Tenure process for both new and existing faculty, as well as the Post-tenure review process. * Manage the processing of annual faculty reappointments and contracts.
